Why dive Sharm el Sheikh?

Diversity of Sites

There really are dives that will suit everyone from beginner to hardened tech diver – photographer to wreck diver – from shark crazy to macro maniac.  With some of the best sites in the world no two dives are ever the same.  Summer months see some great pelagic action.  Hammerheads on the backside of Jackson Reef in the Straits of Tiran – vast schools of fish attracting black tip oceanic sharks in Ras Mohammed National Park make for some adrenalin pumping dives.

Escape the crowds

Before 2011 to dive Sharm el Sheikh you would expect a large number of dive boats and busy sites.  Today in reality the huge volume of divers are not seen.  Typically, dive boats can and do time their dives to ensure you get a peaceful dive.

Just a short hop…

Just over a five hour flight from UK and an even shorter flight from many parts of Europe it is not too far but far enough to be exotic.  The short hop to dive Sharm el Sheikh means that you get warm water diving without loosing precious holiday days to travel time.

You don’t have to leave the family at home

Many divers have been forced to hang up their fins due to change in circumstances – marriage, children etc.  Sharm is family friendly and there is so much to do on land and on/in the water that the whole family can enjoy the break.

Safety first

You know you are in safe hands when you dive Sharm el Sheikh – The Chamber of Diving and Watersports (CDWS) maintain the highest standards and checks for all dive related activities.
